1. CITY PALACE


Entry fee – INR 200


Timings – 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM


Things to see:


Mubarak Mahal: After Taj Mahal, this is the only building which looks the same from every side. In 1959 this palace was converted in to a textile gallery and museum where we can see the clothes of king and many more things.


Art gallery and weapon gallery

Diwan-i-khas: you will get to see the oldest silver jug whose height is 5.3 feet and whose weight is 340 kg without water.

2. HAWA MAHAL


Entry fee – INR 50


Timings – 9AM to 5PM


953 windows can be seen in Hawa Mahal. A fountain is visible as soon as you enter. Live local music is played here by local artists. There are restaurants in front of Hawa Mahal where we can sit and enjoy the front view of Hawa Mahal.

The Hawa Mahal is shaped like a crown. If you observe it from a distance, you can imagine the tiara as placed on the head of Lord Krishna!


3. NAHARGARH FORT 


Entry fee – INR 50


Timings – 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM


Designed in the Indo-European style of architecture. Nahargarh Fort stands on the edge of Aravalli Hills, overlooking the city of Jaipur.

4. ALBERT HALL MUSEUM


 Entry fee – INR 40


Timings – 9:00 AM to 5 PM


This museum is an example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. It was considered one of the best 19th century museum for the variety of its collections. 

In the collection of this museum, you will find international art, paintings, coins, furniture, iron and wooden craft and a lot of art and history from Chinese, European, Indian, Greek.

There is a 2345-years-old female mummy named Tutu on display in the Albert Hall Museum.

5. PATRIKA GATE


Entry fee – no entry fee


Timings – open all day but for the best experience, visit during the early morning or late afternoon.


A massive gate famous for its gorgeous architecture, it is characterised by vibrant colours and intricate cravings that symbolise the Rajasthani culture.


6. BIRLA MANDIR


Timings – 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM


Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi, this mandir is made of white marble, which gives it a wonderful shine.


7. JAIGARH FORT 


Entry fee : INR 150


Timings : 9:00AM to 6:00 PM 


The Jaigarh Fort is the most imposing and spectacular fort that overlooks Jaipur. 

It is famous for the jaivana cannon, considered the largest canon in the world. This cannon was fired only once when it was tested. 

There are many tunnels here, one tunnel originates from Jaigarh Fort to Amer Fort.

8. JANTAR MANTAR


Entry fee : INR 50


Timings : 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM


The Jantar Mantar is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments build by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The instruments allow the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye. These instruments was made 300 years ago and leave even modern technology behind in accuracy.

9. CHOKI DHANI


Entry fee – INR 750 to INR 1200


Timings – 5:PM to 10:30 PM


A mock village called CHOKI DHANI, a perfect mirror to the Rajasthani culture, food, traditions and heritage. The name CHOKI DHANI literally translates to Rajasthani Culture.

Jal Mahal is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Jal Mahal is unique due to red sand stone used in its construction. When you first look at it, will give you the illusion of almost floating atop the lake and that is the moment when the sight takes your breath away.
